{Chelsea & Scott} An engagement in Calabogie
I first met Chelsea when I photographed her brother Matt’s wedding in the fall of 2009. Their family was amazing, and both of them are so outgoing, I know I’m going to have a blast at Chelsea & Scott’s wedding this coming summer! Chelsea and Scott chose his family’s hunt camp up near Calabogie for their session since that’s where he proposed. We had a great day with lots of sun back in October!

{Debra & Rob} Engagement session at Calabogie Motorsports Park
Back when we first did the consult for Debra and Rob, Brian and I were thrilled to find out that they both were avid sportbike riders who wanted to incorporate their hobby into their wedding photography. In fact, I remember walking up to their house that night and excitedly pointing out the bike trailer to Brian! As you know, we love working out of the box, and these guys are a perfect fit.
Their first date included a ride to Calabogie Motorsports Park to watch a race, so it seemed only fitting to shoot their engagement session here. A huge thank you must go out to Jane and Glen, who gave us an amazing tour and access to the track to shoot this fantastic session!

We were thrilled to find out that the new clubhouse has a state of the art classroom for teaching sessions, and 4 gorgeous high end suites, some that look out over the track! Can you say…honeymoon???

What makes a better portrait backdrop than a Porsche and a Mustang??
Both Rob and Debra ride Suzuki motorcycles, and we thought they’d make a cool setting for some ring shots!

Brian and I had such a wonderful afternoon with Debra and Rob…I got to drive on a racetrack (albeit in our Ford F150 and not on a bike), we got to hang out with this amazingly fun couple who are so much in love, AND we made some spectacular images! GREAT day at work!
