Normally I will go through the whole wedding and pick out my favorites, however, this past Saturday I had the honor of photographing Janis & John’s wedding at Strathmere.
This wedding was slightly different. When Janis and John were in high school, they were an item, and John being interested in photography, had taken some photos of Janis. When Ivanette and I met with them back in December, John mentioned he still had the camera and lens that he used back then. We thought it would be fitting to use it for the wedding. There were some difficulties with the camera, but the lens was just fine. John had another Pentax camera and I used that, along with the original 50mm lens that he used in the 70′s to photograph part of their wedding.
I just had to share this image, shot in Ilford black and white film and scanned. I haven’t done any processing to it, because well, I love the image as is!
