With January off to a great start, I figured it was a good time to sit down and thank all of the amazing people who have helped to make this last year so successful.

To our wonderful wedding clients, a warm thank you for choosing us to capture the most important day of your lives. Being recently married, we know that making choices during wedding planning is not always easy and we are so incredibly thankful to have had such fantastic folks to work with. It is always fun for us to be integrally involved in each wedding, and we’ve had the pleasure of photographing some amazing weddings in 2009.

Today we had the pleasure of photographing our first triplets! A big thank you to their amazing (and brave) parents Brigitte and Keith for a great afternoon. The triplets were on their best behaviour, we barely heard a complaint.

Getting engaged? Proposal photography is starting to grow in popularity over the last couple years. If you have been planning the perfect way to propose to the most special person in your life, why not capture her surprise, her tears, her complete happiness for years to come?

Prior to your proposal, I will sit down with you and go over the details, such as location, times, and the cue you will use to let me know when to start photographing. If you are looking for the perfect way to propose, I can also help and give ideas, such as planning a family portrait, going to your favorite restaurant, going back to the place you first met, taking her somewhere she’s always wanted to go, trying something new. Most times she is so overwhelmed with emotion she won’t even notice that I have been photographing the whole time!

As a special, I will have 2-3 images prepared for you to e-mail to friends and family within a few hours. You will receive the complete set within a couple weeks.

The fee for my services? The proposal special is completely free! A dvd of web ready images is provided. All I ask is that you consider us as your wedding photographer.

Availability is limited, it is best to contact us with as much notice as possible to ensure we are available!

I am proud to announce that I have set up a gift registry for all of my new clients. This is an option I will be offering to new clients where I will accept donations on their behalf for their wedding photography services. This is a new trend that has just recently surfaced. Only clients who opt in will be listed in the registry

We were contacted by a couple of models who were looking to add to their portfolio. They had some great ideas so we invited them over to the studio yesterday for a shoot. They did great even though it was only their second shoot!

For Ontario’s second annual “family day” holiday, our neighbour’s asked us if we would be willing to do some family photos of the whole group, seeing as a family this size is hard to get together at once, we had no problem, here is a sample of what we captured.

We headed out Saturday evening to Mercury Lounge to watch our friends Mo Sayk play.  With the band having a Jazz singer, a rock inspired saxophone player, a classically trained drummer and a bassist who plays a funky mix of everything, they have an interesting and varied sound.   Check out their website for more details, if you’re looking for a band for your wedding they just may catch your ear!
