{Miss R} Bridal Boudoir
We’ve had to keep these photos under wraps for a few months now, and are excited to be able to finally share them! Miss R came to our studio a few months ago for a bridal boudoir session. Since her session was a surprise for her (now) husband, we couldn’t share them online. Miss R had a great time during her session, and I hope her husband enjoys her images as much as she does!
{Rachel & Eric} Engagement session at Ottawa’s Arboretum
Ivanette had the pleasure of meeting with Rachel when she started her new job last fall. It was a few months later when Rachel and Eric came in to discuss their wedding plans that I got to meet both of them. Rachel and Eric’s relationship first started when they would meet each other for lunch under a large willow tree at their University. The Arboretum with it’s large willows seemed like the perfect fit for their engagement photos. You can’t help but have a good time with these two! We just love it when people are so madly in love! We are looking forward to covering their small, intimate wedding later this year.

{Jennifer & Jeremy} A unique family wedding near Gatineau Park
Jennifer & Jeremy had one of the most unique weddings we have ever photographed. When we met with them a little over 3 weeks ago, all they wanted was candid photos, nothing posed, no family shots, just pure candid photography. At first we were a little surprised, but then we found out the unique details, such as having their long time family friend perform the ceremony. The biggest surprise was that they were going to hold their 80 guest wedding at their house, complete with contra dancing, a form of square dancing, for their reception. This wedding was about the celebration of family, and having a good time, without having to worry about all of the little details!
Once we arrived last Saturday, we were thrilled with the architecture of their gorgeous home nestled into the side of Gatineau Park. Pictures are definitely worth 1000 words, so enjoy the preview:

{Kelly & Derek} A wedding engagement session at Ottawa’s Hogs Back Falls
Kelly and Derek had met and booked us almost a year ago, so it was really nice to get to see them again and spend a nice Sunday afternoon strolling around Hogs Back falls for a couple hours. They are such a genuinely romantic couple, and we are looking forward to their wedding this July!

{Janis & John} A gorgeous Strathmere Garden Wedding
Janis & John had a gorgeous day for their wedding last Saturday at Strathmere. The sun even came out for brief moments! The weather was great, with lots of great family and friends in attendance. Janis and John did a great job of putting together their elegant and personalized wedding. Of course, everything went as smooth as possible, thanks to Erika, one of Strathmere’s coordinators.
If you’ve already read my previous post, you’ll already know that I photographed part of Janis & John’s wedding using film, so that part of their day would be captured through the same lens that John used to photograph Janis when they were in high school in the 70′s. The following photos are all from our digital cameras, however, stay tuned for more film photos!

{Fanny & Steve} Remic Rapids Engagement
Fanny and Steve were absolutely amazing to work with this past Sunday! We met downtown to photograph their engagement session by the water. With the threat of rain and thunder storms, we moved quickly, which was made easy by Fanny & Steve’s passion and energy for each other! Ivanette and I can’t wait for their wedding!

{Tattooed Boudoir}
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of working with Jaime Beauchamp on creating a different, edgy style for boudoir images. Her half sleeve tattoo added quite the edge to her photos.
