{Chantal & Simon} Engagement session for a fellow brother firefighter
I first met Simon quite a few years ago when we were both enrolled in the Firefighter training program at Algonquin College. Both of us wanted to be firefighters because we wanted to be part of the community, and help our neighbors. Fast forward a few years, Simon has moved out to Dunrobin, I moved out to Almonte and we both were hired as volunteers. Simon had been chatting with me on Facebook about having me photograph his wedding to Chantal even before he proposed.
We are looking forward to photographing their wedding at Lago next summer.

{Jennifer & Matt} A relaxed wedding in Pakenham
I had the pleasure of photographing Jennifer & Matt’s wedding this October in Pakenham. Jennifer, along with her brother are 7th generation farmers, as you may have guessed, family was an important part of their wedding. Jennifer & Matt’s house is within walking distance of her parents, and grandparents house just outside of Pakenham, where all 3 properties provided great backdrops for their photographs.

{Melissa & Keith} An Ottawa Valley wedding in Renfrew
I had the pleasure of photographing Melissa & Keith’s wedding this October in Renfrew. It was a little cold (6 degrees) and very windy, but nobody complained, we had sunshine! There’s something about small town churches that’s just amazing, the light, the intimacy, it’s like they have a personality of their own. St. Michael’s Catholic church in Douglas is no exception, being just around the corner from Melissa’s family farm. Their wedding was such a pleasure to photograph as both families are very relaxed, kind and generous.

{Kelly & Kevin} A country wedding at the Mill of Kintail and Almonte Agricultural Hall
It truly was an honor to photograph Kelly and Kevin’s wedding this September. Some may recognize Kelly from their experiences at Sinders Bridal in Carleton Place, which is where Kelly first heard of us, and throughout the years, decided that we were going to be her wedding photographer. Kelly and Kevin had a lovely intimate ceremony at the Mill of Kintail, followed by a simple yet fun reception at the Almonte Agricultural Hall.

{Alaina & Jim} A gorgeous fall wedding at Strathmere’s Lodge
Ivanette and I first had the opportunity to meet with Alaina, Jim & Bella back in December just after we moved into our new studio. We had a great time and had been looking forward to their wedding. Alaina & Jim (and Bella for that matter) have an amazing, true, pure love for each other, which is apparent after meeting them for only five minutes. When couples ask us if there is anything we need from them, our answer is simply emotion, which they both had more than enough on their wedding day!
We wish Alaina & Jim the best in their future together!

{Erika & Aaron} A stunning wedding at Notre Dame Basilica and reception at the Ottawa Convention Center
Erika and Aaron are truly one amazing couple, full of life and most importantly, full of love for each other. Enough can’t be said about Lynn of Weddings Unveiled for making their day run so smoothly. From the preparations at the Westin, to the ceremony at Notre Dame, to the reception at the Ottawa Convention Center, Lynn did all of the leg work so Erika & Aaron could simply enjoy their day!
{Jingjing & Nick} A relaxed wedding at Strathmere
We first met Jingjing and Nick at a wedding show this spring. In getting to know them, we quickly learnt that they are two truly genuine and honest people. Both were brought up with traditional Chinese values, and their wedding showed that. Family was number one for this wedding, and was very apparent throughout the day.
Jingjing and Nick chose to see each other before their wedding, which allowed us to capture their formal images earlier in the day, giving time for a break after their traditional tea ceremony to relax before their reception!
Hope you enjoy the preview as much as I enjoyed photographing their wedding:
