{Trish & Jason} Destination Wedding in Montego Bay Jamaica
Well, what a January we’ve had! After taking some time off for Christmas to spend with Ivanette and baby Tavis, I have a conversation with Trish, as she tells me how disappointed she was with the quality of the photographer recommended by the resort, one thing leads to another, and the next day Trish, Jason and Kirsten were sitting in our studio chatting with us about what they were looking for in their wedding photography. They had a small wedding, but Trish knew that one thing she wanted was great photos. Next thing you know we’re flying off to Jamaica.
We had great weather at the RIU Montego Bay, Jamaica for their beach side wedding. Enjoy the preview, and stay tuned for their day after photos!

{Trish & Jason} A day after in Montego Bay, Jamaica
In addition to the preview of the images from Trish & Jason’s wedding that were posted to Facebook, here’s a sneak peek from their day after session:

{Christine & Evan} A sexy sunset engagement session
Ivanette and I have known Christine and Evan for a couple years now. Evan used to work with my younger brother, and over the years we’ve gotten to know Christine and Evan. We were excited for them when Evan finally proposed, and even more excited to be photographing their wedding next year in Carleton Place. We spent a Sunday afternoon at Evan’s cottage capturing their engagement session surrounded by the fall leaves. Evan was thrilled when I suggested we incorporate his prized Mustang into their session!

{Kelly & Kevin} A country wedding at the Mill of Kintail and Almonte Agricultural Hall
It truly was an honor to photograph Kelly and Kevin’s wedding this September. Some may recognize Kelly from their experiences at Sinders Bridal in Carleton Place, which is where Kelly first heard of us, and throughout the years, decided that we were going to be her wedding photographer. Kelly and Kevin had a lovely intimate ceremony at the Mill of Kintail, followed by a simple yet fun reception at the Almonte Agricultural Hall.

{Rachel & Eric} An intimate “elopement”
Photos by Brian
Blog post by Ivanette
I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Rachel when I started working at a new job in January, and getting to know her has been one of the highlights of my time there so far. Over time, we got to talking about our lives outside the office, and she learned that Brian is a photographer, and I learned that she was set to marry the love of her life, Eric, this fall. The rest, they say, is history!
When you see Rachel and Eric together, it’s truly captivating…they laugh together constantly, and when they look at one another, are almost consumed by the other. The energy they have together is wonderous and infectious, and you really can’t help but be happy in their presence.
Their families are both in my beloved home province of Nova Scotia, but they decided they wanted a very simple, City Hall ceremony this past week with a few close friends. Rachel looked gorgeous, Eric looked handsome, and we hope you enjoy a glimpse into their special day.

{Su & Leo} Intimate wedding at Code’s Mill in Perth
Ivanette and I had met Su and Leo well over a year ago at a bridal show. We loved how easy going and down to earth they are! Their wedding was held at Code’s Mill in Perth, Ontario, and it was the perfect venue for their simple, yet elegant wedding.
I had a pleasure meeting their families, who were full of emotion.

{Baby Ella} is almost 1
Last Friday we had the pleasure of a visit from Jamie and Matt, and their daughter Ella. Ella will turn 1 this September, and Jamie wanted some family photos with all 3 smiling. We actually photographed Jamie and Matt’s wedding back in 2009, which you may remember had a “little” bit of a firefighter theme. Of course we had to continue on the tradition!
