{Debra & Rob} Sneak Peek
We’ve been quite excited for a while for Debra & Rob’s engagement session. When we first met them, we found out that they enjoyed racing their sport bikes at the track; we suggested possibly photographing their engagement session at Calabogie Motor Sports. Well, things finally worked out with the weather and we couldn’t wait to blog about it! We shot over 700 frames! Trying to narrow it down to just one photo to blog proved impossible, so here’s two!

{Lama & Faisal} Montreal evening engagement
This past weekend, we got together with Lama and Faisal in Montreal for their engagement photos, and we are in love with the images we were able to create! Their goal was to have a boutique style photos taken, and both the hotel and the stunning Sherbrooke neighborhood served as amazing backdrops for their gorgeous session.
I hope you enjoy the images of this wonderful couple as much as we enjoyed making them.

{Rebecca and James} Heartfelt Sunset Engagement Session in Almonte
After issues with weather postponed our session with Rebecca and James a few times, we were all anxious to get together, and catch up on life, love, and the details of their upcoming wedding. Brian has known these two for years, and the three of them were classmates back in the day!
Rebecca and James were looking for a rural town setting for their engagement photos, and we thought “where better than Almonte??” Now, I can assure you that we’re biased towards our gorgeous little town, but when you see the photos, I’m sure you’ll see why…

{Heather & Tom} Strathmere Wedding
Those of you who follow our blog may remember the engagement session of Heather and Tom that we photographed back in May of this year. Although we chose to do that shoot in Kingston where this awesome couple met, the wedding this past Friday was hosted in The Garden House at Strathmere in North Gower.

Heather and her girls got pampered at Heavenly Touch Spa in Brockville prior to making their way North; we fell in love with the historic building, and in exploring found the third floor attic complete with a fantastic dormer window!

Tom’s groomsmen were a varied lot, and hailed from Canada, South Africa, and the United Kingdom! The majority of the guys play rugby together, and were an absolute riot to shoot!

Tom, a marine biologist with a special affinity for sharks, brought these amazing cufflinks back from Australia…

Heather, a high school teacher, had her best friends come from all over Canada to be by her side for her big day!

Heather and Tom first met at a Rugby golf tournament organized by Tom’s groomsman Rob, and we think their favours are pretty fitting!

The beautiful Baptism of baby {Claire}
This past Sunday, we had the pleasure of being a part of the baptism of baby Claire, which was held At the School House, just west of Ottawa. Claire’s parents, Sarah and Dave, decided on an intimate outdoor ceremony for family and friends, and the weather was absolute perfection for the occasion!
The venue is an ideal location for small gatherings, and the potluck lunch afterward was enjoyed by everyone inside the converted one room schoolhouse.
Huge thanks to Sarah, Dave, and Claire for having us capture such a momumental day in a little girl’s life–we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! As an aside, Grandma’s oatmeal bread was the yummiest I’ve ever tasted, and the homemade jam was an awesome addition
