Found this through flickr this evening. I’m posting this for all you photographers! I do give back to the community as much as I can, so naturally I will be supporting this movement.
If you know of somebody deserving, forward their name!
{Jennifer & Bobby } Ottawa Wedding Photographer at the Canadian Golf and Country Club
We had the absolute pleasure of photographing Jennifer and Bobby’s wedding this past weekend. Jennifer first met us at the Carp Fair and fell in love with our wedding photography. The best part of the story, she wasn’t even engaged! So when Bobby proposed this past winter, she dug our card out and gave us a call. With Jennifer’s energy and Bobby’s easy going attitude they made our job easy and a joy to photograph! Luckily the weather broke for a gorgeous ceremony at the Canadian Golf and Country Club! Here is a sneak peek at their wedding:

{Jessica} Ottawa Wedding Photographer – Trash the Dress!
So every once in a while as a photographer, I just have to get out there and shoot for fun, stress free.
One day last winter I came home to find three wedding dresses hanging in my kitchen, yes three! Just as I was wondering what was going on Ivanette walked around the corner and said “Look what I found on sale!”. Yes, the famous words women use to justify everything. Turns out “on sale” was actually because the boutique was liquidating the previous season’s samples, and she really did hit on a huge bargain!
Early in the summer I had found out that Jessica, a model we had worked with last year on a project, was back in Ottawa for the summer and wanted to do a shoot with her horses while she was home. We had gone over a few ideas and when she ended up sending me a photo of a woman on a horse in a white dress, it came to me that this would be a perfect opportunity to trash one of those dresses!
We had an amazing time making this shoot happen; hope you enjoy these shots and they inspire you to do something fun!

{Lisa & Ryan} Toronto Wedding Photographer – Rehearsal Dinner
So, weekend off! We are still going to a wedding, but this time as a guest. My cousin Ryan is getting married in Toronto. We attended their rehersal dinner last night. Now, I really could not leave the camera behind, I’d be lost! Ivy and I had such a great time with the family! Looking forward to the wedding today!

{Lianne & Stephane} Ottawa Wedding Photographer – Stanleys Olde Maple Lane Farm
We travelled to Greely, a short drive south of Ottawa, over the weekend to shoot Lianne and Stephane’s wedding at Stanley’s Olde Maple Lane Farm. The location was stunning, the bride was gorgeous, and the groom…well, a little nervous!
Lianne arrived to the ceremony site in an antique horse drawn carriage, and the collective gasp that went up from the guests confirmed how beautiful her entrance was. Their ceremony was held on stone steps so that every guest was treated to a great view of the bride and groom, and it involved many of the things they hold so important in their lives–laughter, love, family and friends.
This was not your usual wedding and the couple wanted things to be centered around everyone having a good time – and a good time was had by all! They even got the party started by dancing on the grass outside the reception hall.

Steph is a huge Mustang fan, and he (and his new wife) have more than one sitting in the driveway. Lianne had the Ford Mustang logo engraved on the inside of Steph’s beautiful ring, and both of their rings were made using diamonds from a family heirloom piece.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds were taken on a private carriage ride through the beautiful backroads of Stanley’s farm while their guests mingled for cocktails.

Lianne and Steph were so much fun to work with, it truly was the easiest and most enjoyable wedding we’ve ever shot. But then again we love our jobs so much, we tend to say that alot!

I’m not kidding when I say the groomsmen were The Three Amigos, and were memorable to the say the least! The bonds of friendship were very evident at this wedding, and many a funny story was recounted throughout the night…

Lianne is one of those fun loving women of the world and laughingly posed for this shot–I love it!

Lucky man, beautiful ladies…

We are incredibly thankful to be able to call Lianne and Stephane friends…they literally have known us from the beginning of our lives together, and it was both a pleasure and an honour to photograph their day. We had a fabulous time, and I think we’re all looking pretty good for this shot taken in the wee hours of the morning…
